Installation

Install Robotricks on your Duels lobby and game servers through the Aegis loader, and check that players can fight a bot.

Before you start

Set up Duels first and check that a normal match works. See Duels installation.

Robotricks needs to run on two kinds of server:

The Duels lobby, where players pick a bot and a kit.
Every Duels game server, where the bot spawns into the match.

Install

Products are delivered through your personal Aegis loader. If the loader is not on the server yet, follow Installation first.

Add Robotricks to the lobby

Add Robotricks next to DuelsLobby.

Restart the servers

On first start Robotricks creates settings.yml, messages.yml and menus.yml in plugins/Robotricks/. If no bot profiles exist yet, it saves the five default profiles to MongoDB.

Check it works

Join the lobby. The Fight Bots item is in hotbar slot 3.
Right-click it, or run /bots.
Pick a bot, then a kit. You are sent to a game server and the bot spawns when you arrive.

Only kits that allow 1v1 casual are offered. See Queues and ranked.

If you do not arrive within 60 seconds, the bot is not spawned. Change this with arrivalTimeoutSeconds in settings.yml.
