Duels
A duels lobby plugin and a match server plugin for Paper networks, with casual and ranked queues, kits, parties and replays.
What Duels is
Duels is a 1v1 and team duels mode for a Paper network. It comes as two plugins that work together:
- DuelsLobby runs on your duels lobby. Players join queues, send duel requests, edit kit layouts, start party games and look at stats there. Staff manage kits, maps and ranked settings from the lobby.
- DuelsGame runs on your match servers. Each match gets its own arena world. The game server applies the kit's rules, records the result, updates ratings and saves a replay.
Scaffold is included. It is the game engine both plugins run on. It handles matchmaking, parties, arenas and moving players between servers.
You can run one lobby and many game servers. Every server shares the same kits, maps, stats and settings through MongoDB and Redis.
