Reports and help requests
How players report others and ask staff for help with Sentry, and how staff review, prioritise and dismiss reports in /reports.
Reporting a player
/report <player> opens a menu of report categories. It needs sentry., so give that node to your default rank.
The reported player must be on the same server as you, and you can't report yourself.

You can rename the categories and change their items in menus.yml.
After a report is sent:
- Staff with
sentry.staffon every server running Sentry get an alert with the reporter, the reported player, the category and the server. Clicking it opens/reports. - The player can't report again until the cooldown ends. It is 90 seconds by default (
reportCooldowninsentry.yml) and applies across the whole network.
Asking for help
/helpop <message> (also /request) sends a message to staff on every server running Sentry. Clicking the alert runs /jump to the player.
- It needs
sentry., the same node ascommand. report /report. - Muted players can't use it.
- Messages are cut to 200 characters.
- It has its own cooldown, the same length as the report cooldown.
Reviewing reports
/reports opens every open report on the network, high priority first, then newest first. It needs sentry..
Each report shows the reported player, the reporter, the category, the server it came from, the time it was sent and any details the player typed.

Reports are removed on their own after 5 minutes (reportExpiry in sentry.yml), whether or not anyone handled them.
Turning alerts off
/togglereportmessages (also /trm, /reportmessages) turns report and help request alerts off or on for you. It needs sentry.staff and is saved to your profile, so it applies on every server.
